Labor Day weekend
In need of an adventure before getting bogged down in the school and upcoming holiday craziness, we headed to Big Bear Lake with R&M and gang for the Labor Day weekend. It was a lot of fun! Big Bear reminds me a lot of Jackson Hole - quaint shops set in a beautiful landscape. We rented a cabin and explored the area.

Big Bear is where I was offered my first "official" teaching job. I interviewed up there for more than 4 hours and then turned down the job. Although it's gorgeous, it was too many 1st's and too far to find other LDS singles. In the end, it turned out to be the right decision for me. Still a gorgeous place!! Glad you had fun.
